Sunday, March 7:
Today we met Molly at the Alamo Draft House to watch "Crazy Heart" before tonight's Academy Awards. Then Courtney, Steve and the boys came downtown to see us in "our" condo, before we all (including Molly and James) went to dinner at the Galaxy Cafe. We've been there before, but not for dinner. It didn't disappoint! After dinner Courtney and crew headed back home, about 30 minutes north of downtown. Molly and James came over to the condo and watched the Oscars with us.
It seemed so strange, but very cool, that our daughters, son-in-law and grandsons could stop by and see us on a Sunday afternoon! That doesn't happen very often, to say the least!
